Homesick

It's been four month, since I've had to leave Ahava and sleep on land

It's kinda fun, living on land for a bit. Thanks to my beautiful family and the open doors of my amazing friends, I don't feel like it's too heavy on me.

But today I woke up, feeling this stabbing pain of missing home. Waking up on the water, feeling every breath of the wind. Paddeling through the morning light, listening to the birds and feeling free and fully myself.

Now I'm back in the neighborhood I grew up in.

Filled with big houses, big streets, loud noise and endless cars and people.

So instead of spending the day feeling lost in the big city or the shipyard, I am going to walk around my favorite parts of the Spree, meet a friend get a cup of good coffee and then I'll go borrow a SUP from my neigbors, to just be out on the water.

No noise, no thoughts, no people, just the water and me
