I left Ahava behind for a few weeks to be able to go for a little sailing trip down in Greece. My loving neighbors recently purchased a beautiful, light blue Katamaran called Blue Sky down here in Lefkada. She is a beautiful boat and I am enjoying my time here very much.
While Ahava is still in Berlin, I am here in the sunshine, checking out Shipyards, sailing territories and am slowly preparing myself to take Ahava down to the mediteranean sea next year.
And as much as I enjoy sailing this spacy and quite luxirious (compared to Ahava) boat, I do miss my little home. I cannot stop wondering, what it would feel like to sail her here, to feel these strong winds in Ahavas sails and the pure joy I would feel jumping up and down the waves with her.
I am in desperate need of taking her out for adventure, every cell in my body is telling me, that this is the way to go. That living on the ocean, is where I will finally find home, where I'll find endless happiness and joy.
The one thing this trip is teaching me though, is that sailing with friends is even more fun then I imagined. That maybe, sailing the world by myself isn't as needed as I always thought,. That maybe, sharing my adventure might be extra fun.
